Not taking any sides, but this is the reason why products are never developed on forums like these. We all keep jabbing until the final blow knocks out a possibility of a vendor..lol. I know we all want the specifics, but lets respect the business side or the business strategy each company takes. I know if i had a company, i'd have problem answering some of the questions asked. These are sensitive material or outright undisclosed. It's like you calling up Nissan or Mercedes and asking them what company they used to source all their parts...lol. If people knew, they go right after the source and create their own products! Or better yet, go straight to the stock market. Why do you guys think so much knock off exists. But then again, it doesn't hurt to ask...=)
I think a better approach would be to have a possible vendor like this to approach the forum(which they have in this case), respect what they have to say, and have the suspensions gurus ask if they can produce what our community wants; valving, spring rates...etc. I can care less where each part is coming from or compare dyno graphs. Obviously, they all relate, but in general, if it performs the way we want it, I'm fine w/ that. If the product is made, send the product to some of the gurus in our community, set a price and be done w/ it. Most people buy things word of mouth or due to popularity anyways. When it comes to cars, EVERYTHING is subjective. Everyone has their own definition of high end. Look up what's stiff for a suspension or spring rate, everyone's opinion is different.

Enough about my philosophy..lol.

I'll be interested in getting a set if you include pillow ball mounts. I just want to bolt this on, go get an alignment and be done w/ it. As far as spring rate or valving, just make something, send it to Ben or one of the mods or gurus for testing. If they're good, i'm good...

Ben doesn't even drive his Sentra anymore so I am mildly amused by the vested interest he has shown.

Agreed!
Here is a vendor actually active on the forum; an opportunity for the forum to get something very customized, almost bespoke, to suit our cars.
How about we play nice and get something going, rather than chest beating?

How about there is a general consensus and options available, with the experience and expertise from the knowledge members and get our cars doing the business on the streets?

Thoughts?

Rather than have another cookie cutter design, I find it wonderful that Jerrick is on posting on behalf of Meister.

I also do not see any chest beating going on. Nissan designed the Sentras we all own and love. They made the car with the quirky characteristics that need to be addressed and surely not overlooked. (which can and HAS happened and continues to happen right now for other parts made by other companies)

I don't want Jerrick to be ran off this forum as much as the last two posters but I also have seen a more happy discussion than I see around here, that is for sure.

I would love to try a set for my P11, but without knowing that the shock/damper is better then alternatives on the market, it's hard for me to pay more for an less shock you know?

A few folks have already compared the BC to the Meisters and Meisters are heavily favored vs the BC coilovers. But I suppose YMMV is active whenever we are talking about cars.

Well one of the issues is the P11's only have Zeta-S line, not even Zeta-R...

Why is that an issue? At least they have them for your car! No options P10, B13 or B14, (yet?)

I honestly do not know the difference between those two lines. I tried looking at the web site again just now and I cannot tell a difference. Probably just a few changes in the valving or maybe shims are different for passing fluid?

I have asked several legitimate questions that the OP has seemingly avoided.

Now tell me @udunnome, if I was a potential customer that had a proper reason to purchase his system, why would I even consider it if he cannot take the time of day to answer my very simple and basic questions that any quality shock/damper maker should already have the answers to??

This has nothing to do with the forum "beating down" a vendor and all to do with the potential vendor throwing about a gaggle of terms/jargon and brand names without reason (which people in the know are calling him on), avoiding legitimate technical questions and seemingly withholding valuable (shock dyno) information.........And this is BEFORE the system is even in production!

Any why the hell does Ben or any other forum member have to be including in "testing" when the vendor himself stated these are pretty much good to go and state sthe N15/N16 chassis is the same as the B chassis??

The minute he disregarded my questions and withheld valuable information is the minute he lost about 85% of his potential customer base. The remaining base are mostly interetested in pillow ball mounts, stance nation, and riding frame rails. None of which I am even remotely interested in..............

Until we know how good they are we have to assume they are as good as ebay/china coilovers. If your willing to settle for that I'm sure someone on eBay has coil overs for P10, B13 and B14 .

Two different cars I know, but the pages look to be for general model of suspension and not cars.
Zeta-S (P11)
Zeta-R (Legacy GT)

Zeta-R is what I would consider for the P11, here is a legitimate question @MeisterR, can I order custom spring rates for your suspensions? Do you re-valve for the higher/lower rates with that order, Is there an upcharge?
