Commonly known as camber pins. they work just fine, some people don't like them because they're an undersize thickness, but i've been using them for over 4 years now, with frequent alignment and never had a problem with them. This includes daily duties and track work.
They work for some adjustment, in my experience they tend to shift and change over time. They seem to be fine for a minor drop, but if you are getting into a better setup you might want to think about something else.
