P10 issue during installing new front strut
I was successfully able to complete the passenger side. When I was about to wrap up the driver side I realized that the upper control arm was stuck. It seems like the axle is hindering it from going back to its home. How could I get this resolved?
Thanks!

Its stuck at this position.

I don't see how the axle would interfere with the upper control arm unless you mean something different.

If the axle is at fully length, it may need some tweaking to allow the whole spindle/third link to swing up so you can connect the mounting points between the upper control arm and third link.

Have you tried unbolting the spindle from the suspension? It's held together by a 17mm nut under the dome-like dust cover.

dude as it was said on gnet. you need to remove your sway bar link, that way you get enough room to manuver the assembley out of the way to push your UCA up past your spring.

also in order to find out wwhy your rod is sticking up so much (assuming this is still a problem) you need to post pics of how you assembled it...i assume you forgot a bump stop or have things on in the wrong order
