You need to be a bit more definitive as there is also a stainless steel (or metal, whatever) ring/plate which goes inside the strut tower.
The circular metal rings (should have 3 bolt holes) go inside the wheel well between the upper mounts and the GC plate. It is used to distribute load along the inner portion. The engine bay portion of the strut tower does not have a flat surface for the plate to sit evenly on
One of the most important things not to forget: Make sure you have the correct inner sleeve/bearing to match up the shock OD to the GC plate. Other than that, as above, they bolt right in
