steering issues
So this week my car started having steering issues. The car is controllable but something is not right.
When I accelerate the car pulls left, and when I decelerate the car pulls to the right. Under mild throttle the car only pulls a little to the left, under heavy throttle the car wants to fly over to the other lane by 4k rpm and only gets worse as i get higher up in the rpm range. The higher rpm i start my deceleration the harder it pulls to the right. I have to counter steer to get the car to drive straight (the max i have to countersteer is about 50* under acceleration and about 20* when deaccelerting). When I push in the clutch and glide the car pulls a little to the right (i think this is from the alignment being slightly off, the car has always done that).
There are no weird noises beside a small single "ding" coming from the rack when it engages from center to a side.
A little backround on the car....
Its a b14 with about 5k miles on it since I rebuilt it. It has a n/a VE with a light flywheel and sr16 transmission. The suspension mods are (everything was brand new when I installed them)
D2 coil overs (the cars a little lower then it should be)
Nissan controll arms with the large ES bushing installed
Nissan Ball joints
Nissan outer tie rods
Nissan sway bar ends with bushings
New tires
Front and Rear strut tower bars
Controll arm brace
New duralast axles
Nissan hubs and wheel bearings
OEM rack with PS delete
Here is what ive done so far to try and fix it
Tightened everything suspension/steering wise with a breaker bar (passanger side controll arm cover plate was very loose as well as passanger side rack mount)
Tightened motor mounts and x-member
Checked tire PSI
Rotated Tires
Checked all boots/rubber
Checked everything for noticible play/movement
Checked everything for noticible bends
Tightened axle nuts
The car did get more responsive and easier to handle after tightening the passanger controll arm and rack but the crazy torque steer is still there. This is by no means normal torque steer.
Any ideas guys?
