Camber,Caster & Toe.
I'm gonna be doing an alignment, just wanted to know where the adjustments for these are made.

I know the Toe get adjusted at the tie rods, the Camber at the 2 strut bolts, but what about Caster?

I don't see at the top of the strut where it's adjustable.

Also, are the stock settings ok ? OR should i shoot for -/+ camber/toe?

TIA

camber and caster are not factory adjustable on these cars , so for camber either grind the strut or buy camber bolts or buy upper top hats that are adjustable, for caster you have to either get adjusters for the lower cont arms or caster bushings or a caster adjustable upper top hat ...

camber is adjustable on our cars just not more than 1.5* or so. the only way to change caster is with the whiteline bushings i believe(on the rear of the front control arm)

What is your setup and uses? This will affect how much camber and toe you want. How far is the car lowered? As a rule of thumb go with -1* camber and 0* toe. Leave caster unless you are lowering the car quite a bit.

It's lowered probably 1.5 inches. Sportline springs on GR-2's. It's my daily but sometimes i like to go out and do some spirited driving. Other than that all else is stock.

I just wanted to refresh all bushings , tie rods, control arms and bring things back to like new/from the factory settings.

DO NOT do sportlines with gr2's you will hate your ride. get agx's at a minimum, or even better some konis. sportlines are way too much of a drop for stock struts and the spring rates are not high enough to compensate for the drop.

Previous owner did the sportline/gr-2 setup. I had AGX's on my old B13 which i absolutely loved, but i can't justify replacing these struts when they're still in decent condition.

If they were shot then yeah i would get some AGX's.

Ride is a bit stiff but not as bad as i initially thought, maybe i just got used to them driving for so long.

im just saying you will be riding the bumpstops with the sportlines. the pro kits are a little better but not much. the gr2's are oem style struts so they arent meant for lowering and will go bad in a short time. just sell the sportlines and gr2's and buy some roadmagnet/hypercoils and some agx's/konis and you will be in much better shape.

With your current setup i would do -1* of camber and 0* toe. If you want just get those cheap camber bolts to get the camber where you need it. If you are going to do bushings just get the ES bushings, dont worry about the caster bushings.
