Thread: Cheap-bay springs

Anybody have any experience with these Cheap-bay "lowering springs"? Probably made of Chinese pot metal, but just wondering.....

Shocks will blow probably even with OEM springs ha. As for springs why not go with someone more reputable for $100 more?

Yeah i know you get what you pay for. I am new to upgrading the B14, I am used to shopping for Z31 300zx parts. My last B14 was a rust pile and not worth upgrading, but my new one is worth a little extra care. Just trying to get a feel for whats out there.

Ok, thank you all. I will go with better springs. As far as struts go, are the OEM replacements such as Monroe ok?

ill go kyb, monroe or sach. i bought the cheap set some ebay and my ride is rock hard on stock springs, not worth the headaches. i installed sach on my sis in law p11 and they seem to be holding up really nice. i going to give the monroe a try since i get tthem at a good ride and put them on my customers cars with no complaints. im getting too old for a rough ride......its time for a cadillac
