Anyone remove thier front sway bar (B14)?
Anyone remove the front bar,did it reduce the understeer?

Anyone have an aftermarket rear bar and remove the front?

Many years ago I put on an b13 se-r sway bar in the front. This was before I knew you work on the opposite end of the car you trying to make handle better lol. (I think the b13 se-r bar is stiffer than the b14 se-r bar is)

Do you guys think removing the front bar all together will help? Should it only be done with the installation of a rear bar?

Some people do it for track. I tend to be one for less sway bars and more shock or strut and spring.

I did it with worn out dampers in the front and Hyperco springs. Too much oscillation that acceleration and braking were negatively affected so I hooked it back up and just deal with the snow plow B14 the way it is.

All of my experiences are just from driving on the street. Nothing on the track.

NX front bar is thicker than the b13 and b14 bar.

I went from a Stillen front bar,ST rear bar,to no bar on the front. It turned better, but was a little to twitchy to deal with for autocross. It screwed up my braking points more than anything, then I was off for turning and/or accelerating out of a corner.I went back with the stock bar on the front.Still turns better than the bigger bar,but makes it easier to deal with otherwise.Getting the spring rates right with the different bars is a must also.

Not a B14 but a p11, I tried as well the front bar removal mod with tien stock front springs and 600 lbs rears and did not like it for autox. on the road it felt good but not for autox. I then got 600lb front springs and removed the sway bar and now it feels real good. Like Bucky said. you need to get your springs right, too soft of a spring and no sway bar is not a good idea, more spring and less sway bar is the way to go IMO. a lot less understeer, good AUTOX setup. don't know about a fast track setup.

Any proof to substantiate this claim? I asked a fellow local member with a mostly stock NX to check and he got the same numbers listed in the FSM.

28mm front and 15mm rear.

I had a ST sways bar front and back for years. I have Agx and Hyperco springs, cheap front strut bar and shigspeed control arm brace. I removed the front ST bar this summer and the car felt more neutral.

On the street the car feels more unsettling over big bumps and theres more body roll. At a recent solo 2 event the car felt neutral through most corners.
