Thread: gonna change front hub assembly, looking for guidance

hi all, i am gonna change my front hub assemble to get rid of my bearings. what do i do to release the hub from the spindle? i assume to take the spindle off release the axle nut, remove 2 bolts from strut, and remove tie rod and ball joints, is that right? then hiw do i get the hub out the spindle? can i just find a spindle with hub on line? thank you.

ok my noobness is strong. i read up, looks like i take the spindle off and push the hub off then press out bearings. reverse and done. got a friend with a lift, gonna get it done.

I just had Arjay do mine for the front --- $69 hubs off eBay and no complaints so far. Looks like they are made well.

there is no mention of what grade of material is being used for any of the parts. you might be doing this again pretty soon, wheel bearings are something I would not go ebay with without knowing the brand, sealed in oe packaging.

hope its good quality, if it is let us know in a few months.
