Thread: big hunk of rubber on lower control arm?

hi all just got my es lca bushings. looking at the stock "torsion" bushing, does that stupid thing just pop off? it looks like there is a hard plastic sleeve under it, does that stay behind? im about to get out the dremel and chisel and just dont wanna ruin it. thanks.

The whole thing should slide off fairly easily. Put the arm in a vise and pull and pry.

I had to cut and burn it off. Southern heat baked it real nicely for me to remove with a little bit of "persuasion".

got em off. took the dremel to them, pryed a piece off with a big screw driver, and dremeled the sleave while prying to release. wasnt bad thank god its done. thanks all for the help.
