threadlock to stop hub nut coming loose?
The hub nuts on my car are torqued in place with Loctite 243. However after a recent track day, I found that the hub nut had come loose, I presume due to the heat and also through vibration from the brakes, etc. Has anyone had this problem before and if so, what thread lock was used to rectify it? thanks

You should be using a castle lock nut on them so it does not happen. Or in my case i am just using a lock washer and the cotter pin sits right on the nut.

You should have a washer, nut, castle washer then a cotter pin going through that. With all those it is literally impossible for it to loosen

Oh my car has no castle nut cover; have you got a part number for this? There is a picture of it on nissan4u but no number.

Am not really sure why it came loose; was a lot of vibration from the brakes; maybe that coupled with heat just loosened the nut

Your best bet for oem parts is GregV at GSpec. He's in our vendor section.

This is the correct answer!
I have been doing HPDE's for 4-5 years, I have put in a ton of track miles and I have not experienced this at all.

and with all these 'correct' parts in place there in NO need to use threadlock.
