Thread: Primera P11 Brake upgrade completed

Hi guys.

One of my first goals with my P11 was to upgrade their front and rear brakes, so i sold my Nismotronic ECU and my apexi SuperAFC II with that goal on mind and of course a ECU upgrade, now saving for a RT/SA ECU.

Couple of days after that i returned to stock ECU, i saw an S15 Calipers kit with the G20 brake disc so i bought it immediately. Last weekend the mechanic finished with the upgrade and now they are installed and working, the change from the stock front brakes to this is simple amazing, no lag, no loss of power brake, great response braking in high speeds. Now i have to wait until this weekend to see if the front calipers match on the rear brakes, i got a couple of brake disc from Nissan Altima to see if they match with the front calipers.

One of the mods that we have to do with this brakes was take off a couple mm on the diameter of the discs.

You're going to put front calipers on the rear of your car?

What was the diameter of the rotor and how much did you take off? Did you look into M30 rotors?

1.- Yes, that is want i want.
2.- You mean the original size from my rear rotors or the new front rotors?.

It's difficult to get good rotors or good brake kits, do you have link to the M30 rotors?.

the M30 rotor is about 274mm diameter and the p11 is about 280mm. check RockAuto Parts Catalog for 1990 Infiniti M30. It's 4 lug.

2. what was the original diameter of the front rotors before they were cut down? and after they were machined?

1. I will check that.

2. i don't have that info, i will ask for that information to my mechanic.
