Eibach Sportline
I'm thinking about purchasing Eibach Sportline lowering springs but I heard they won't work well for my 98 b14 struts?
I'm looking for a pretty dramatic drop. Anywhere from 1.5" to 2". I know the sportline springs will create a dramatic drop but I want to be safe and make sure this is a good buy for me.

You need coilovers for that much of a drop if you want it to still turn. Just using lowering springs will blow out your stock strut/shocks, thus you would need better struts/shocks, AGX's are a bare minimum.

That is where I originally saw that the springs would not be good for the struts. So eventually I should just get coilovers.

Unless your going to do it right with CSK's, coilovers are the best bet. Nowdays coilovers are as cheap as CSK's will be, so might as well save the trouble and go straight to coilovers.
