Thread: Progress Rear Sway Bar b14?? Where is it? -- No longer made!! :(

I don't see it on their site?? What am I missing? Is it the same as the b13?

There was a post with a guy installing it on his b14, but mentioned that there may be fitment issues with those with larger than stock exhausts..can anyone comment on this?

You will not find it any cheaper, but I still prefer the Whiteline setup of connecting to the car rather than reinforcing the bar. And the whiteline one only clears a stock exhaust I have heard @hammerin hank confirm this. Doing this is only is good but added the trailing arm bushings would be a wonderful compliment to a rear sway bar addition.

I will be installing my rear Whiteline swaybar this weekend, i have a 3" exhaust so i will be having fitment issues, but ill try to figure it out...

I'll wait for @ivanorcan to do the install this weekend. I already placed an order for a Whiteline, but I as well have a 3" exhaust. If he can't get it to fit I guess I'll have to resell it and buy the Progress bar from Greg. If I saw that to start w/I would have gotten that instead.

@Shawn B : Can you please update your suspension thread to include the only known link to a b14 rear progress sway bar? Progress site doesn't list it.

lol I just cancelled my Whiteline order..jesus christ man..I've been going on a wild buying spree recently. Trying to get car ready for a track day in 3 weeks! :/

!!UPDATE!!

Talked to Greg and he confirmed (via a call to Progress) that Progress NO LONGER MAKES THE B14 SWAY BAR!

That being the case, I'll be very interested in fitment progress by ivan.

I actually got it work with a 2.5" exhaust. It's frickin koochie hair tight, though. What I did was mount the endlink on the outside of the bar and the chassis mount. I also made sure the nut end of the bolt was facing out, as well.

Every exhaust is a little different where the bends are, etc. so fitment is going to vary. There's always the ball peen hammer dimple technique. Not ideal though. Poly exhaust hangers may help with sideways contact under hard cornering.
