Every exhaust is a little different where the bends are, etc. so fitment is going to vary. There's always the ball peen hammer dimple technique. Not ideal though. Poly exhaust hangers may help with sideways contact under hard cornering.

Sounds like it'd be best to have this on BEFORE upgrading exhaust, however, that's not always possible for a lot of us in our upgrade paths.

What brand was your 2.5" exhaust? custom job? vrs?

Can you send some detailed pics of how and where you had fitment issues?

No love for the 14.

Any other good options besides Whiteline that work w/bigger exhaust?

The exhaust came with the car. I seem to remember the previous owner saying it was custom.

Here's a picture I snapped a while ago. You can see the stockish exhaust and the endlink on the inside of the bar and mount. With it mounted like that a fat exhaust isn't gonna work. With the 2.5, I put the endlink on the outside to avoid contact with the exhaust pipe.

I gotcha. OK that makes more sense now. I'll have to take a look at my exhaust and compare w/your pics. Some fiddling w/the exhaust hangers may work as well to give it some more room. I think the Whiteline is pretty much the only good rear sway bar available for the b14, so we may HAVE to make it work somehow if we want a rear bar.
