Thread: B13 Tein coilover with EDFC Question

Ok, I have done my my searching and cant find a concrete answer. Tein makes SS coilovers for the B13 and B14. But Tein sells the EDFC(Electronic Dampening Force Controller) for the B14 SS coils and nothing for the B13. My question is, does anyone know if the B13 Tein coilovers are actually EDFC capable? I see a couple people run these coilovers on B13's.

the b14 and b15 use the same edfc kit. this kit should also work on the b13 since the b13 struts work on a b14 and b15. The only question would be does the hood close with the stepper motors installed. I can tell you the edfc is a waste of money I had it installed on my b15 spec v. Once the car was adjusted I never changed the settings.

I will make some models out of wood of the dimensions of the motors and see about hood clearance. My guess right now is no. A couple buddy's run EDFC on their cars and around here it makes a noticeable difference. I know Tein makes the smaller stepper motor kit, but I'm pretty sure the older and bigger ones will only fit the B13 coilovers.
