When I had that sound the lower control arm bolt had to be tightened.

I'm going to tighten everything down when I get it on the lift this evening. Go through everything and check every connection. I don't want to pull it apart if I can avoid it. I have the lifetime alignment now, but that shit just takes time out of my already hectic day.

Check your hub bearings then.

Well, I had it on the lift last night and got the popping sound to come out of the left side. I thought I had the right side setup correctly, but once I got it on the ground it started up again. I'm going to put it back in the air this evening and see what I can do. There don't appear to be any notches or anything that indicates the proper position of the top hat/plate/whatever. Am I missing something here?

Thanks again.

Is the rubber isolator or rubber hose on the bottom of the spring?

Re-torque the top nut to spec (43-54 ftlbs.) and see if that fixes it. Sometimes they get way over tightened with the impact wrench and it binds the thrust bearing.

Yeah, the isolator is on the bottom as well as some hose along the spring. I'll back them off of tighten them down with a torque wrench this evening.

@ga16eats... No, I'm running KYB AGX struts and Road Magnet springs all the way around with KYB Strut mounts.
