Intermittent vibration at constant high speed
I took a roadtrip trip over the weekend and covered quite a few motorway miles, i noticed while cruising at high speed an intermittent vibration/shudder that shook the car (only happened while holding a constant speed between 90-100mph)
The shudder would "rise: for 3-4 seconds then disappear for 3-4 seconds
The noise remained even after shifting to neutral (to diagnose).
Tyre pressures were fine, wheel nuts were tight, cv are fine and i assume axles are straight.
Anyone experience similar? would it be something as simple as loose trim (cant find any) or radio aerial or some kind of harmonics?
Im running standard nissan alloys, only aftermarket bushing is a poly rear engine mount
Thanks!
