Best front suspension ( daily + occasional drag ) CSK??
Hey guys, I just recently freshened up my 10 year old rear suspension with fresh AGX and its using Ground Controls but now its
time to freshen up the front for spring/summer.

300lb Front springs / 200lb Rear springs

Whats the best ( shortened hopefully ) setup? With the AGX + Ground Controls its like hitting a curb when you
hit a bump. There has to be a better front setup.... Would CSK's give me a smoother ride? Or something else?

I know K-Sports are pretty much chinese junk just looking for a better front setup, If CSK's are it does anyone still
build them as I would rather pay for a pre-built setup if this is the way to go.

Here is the current stance, I know we dont have a ton of travel but its not that low and its the same height I hope to keep.

Thanks,
Daryl

I rode on AGX/Hyperco for a very long time. Upgraded to CSK/Hyperco last year.

There is NO comparison. The CSK's are sooooooo much smoother, planted, and comfortable that it actually surprised me. Worth every single penny.

Rob asked that same question.

I don't see an issue with the ride height.

Thanks man, Looking to spend just a little less than that and have brand new rears..

Anyone have any other suggestions, Is there anything else out there better than AGX thats not super expensive? I dont track the car just occasional drag racing
and daily driving.

Just looking to rebuild the front setup, Rear AGX's have 5k miles on them the fronts have bout 40k miles.

Also is it worth to replace the front strut mounts? They dont look horribly worn to the naked eye but they are original 1992.

Thanks Guys!!! Getting the parts ready for the spring to start back up working on the project.

If it was my setup I'd put the 300 lb springs on back and get 350-380 up front. I had a B13 w a CSK/GC setup like that I bought off of Fosters and it was great.

You would benefit from replacing those top hats but I'd probably skip it. Definitely would be time for new thrust washers though. They take a beating w/ GCs

Thanks Ben! Ill look into getting new top hats / thrust washers and maybe just a new set of AGX's with Stiffer spring rates... Works for me semi cheap and easy to do. Like I said just a fun street car nothing crazy.
