Rear Thrust Angle Way Off
So I'm in Suspension and Steering at my school right now. And I been on the alignment racks and something is messed up with the rear end of my car. The right rear toe is at .93 degrees and the left is at .17 or so. There is no adjustable parts and it dosn't look like anything is bent. Anyone got any idea on what to do to fix this? It's throwing my steering off pretty bad

make sure all the alignment heads are on right and just double check. If you get the same results the second time, it is possible you have something bent on the right side. More then likely the spindle if anything.

it wouldn't be the whole rear axe would it? cuz that would suck and some of the welds on the right side look like shit and are starting to rust and it kinda looks like its been rewelded... but I think it's just shit factory welds. I'll try to get a picture.

And what do you mean by alignment heads?

alignment heads are on the alignment machine.

The heads are what attach to the wheels and get the readings.

Its pretty hard to bend a rear beam. Check to see if the spindle looks bent anywhere on the side with the bad toe.

Do do those numbers mean a total of 0.76 degrees toe in, centered pointing toward the front left? If so maybe one of your trailing link bushings (things that the rear beam pivots vertically about) is worn out? Basically swinging the whole rear end on the horizontal plane?

When you say it's throwing off your steering, is this a new thing? Or did something happen first? Is your wheel turned left to go straight?

it has a negative thrust angle which means the rear of the car would pull to the right...but is sticking out left of the centerline of the car. it has a -.93 or something along those lines of thrust. both rear tires have a positive number mean there pointing inward. but the right side is way more then the left. Im not sure why it goes left but i've aligned the car 3 times still goes left. something to do with not being able to adjust the camber and caster in the front most likely. But I know the rear isn't helping if I explained this correctly...

it has also had a slight pull to the left but after i aligned the front end it's been more noticable.

Those beam axles all had built in toe in for safety. Yours just seems centered wrong. It wouldn't be an issue if the L/R toe in was even.

Does it actually pull, or does it not drive straight with the wheel straight? You could adjust the tie rode equally one way to have the wheel center when driving straight.
