Thread: Pic of real KYB SM5085?

Anyone have pictures of KYB's rear strut mount for a B13? All I have seen is something like this:

Is that what they really look like? Nothing like the OEM that is two parts, with the plate for mounting bolts and the "hat" for the spring like in post 9 of this thread:

Fronts look like this 1) Top hat plate 2) Top hat plate cover 3) Top hat 4) gasket















Rears are a little different 1) Top hat(plate welded to it) 2) Top hat plate cover

P.S. I don't see there being any difference from the KYB or OEM top hat plate cover.

Thanks. Now I know what to expect when I order the KYB. For the rears I actually drilled out the spot welds and put an aluminum donut for a spacer between the plate and the hat, but it clunks even with JB Weld.
