Kinda reminds me of the hyperco spring that broke a few years ago.It was not abused or rusted.Just failed out of the blue(fortunately not on the track or at highspeed,IIRC.

Parts do fail on occasion.Even great ones.I hate to hear that, and that it has pushed you to buy an inferior rear setup.

I have a 8 year old set of motivational built csks on my car that were tracked multiple times before I even got them. They are still on my DD and work flawlessly. No leaks,no noise.
I guess I got a good set..LOL

you can't really tell in the rears anyways. even with csk's you do not gain that much travel back in the rears.

The problem in the rear isn't travel, it's rebound control. Unfortunatly that is exactly what the AGX's lack.

Shawn sometimes I think you go a little to far. All he was doing was posting his opinion from his experience on the Konis. Then you go off on the guy. nuff said

Dean that is a nice looking egg. Where did you find it or has it been in the family for long time?

People have been thinking I go a little too far my entire life. You are not the first nor the last that will hold that opinion. You're even in good company.

No, that is not all he was doing by a fairly long shot.

He was arrogantly calling into question both Steve Foltz and the collective suspension knowledge of the forum as I personally presented it in The Suspension Thread. Is my thread perfect? No, but this relative new-comer with very, very little suspension expertise or experience is damn sure not going to make his disdainful declarations and self-aggrandizing and incorrect pronouncements without a full and effective response from me.

So be it Shawn. I'm on Progress suspension as of right now so I don't have a dog in this fight. I was just thinking this is how you push people out of a very small community, when we already are lacking as such.

On another note thanks for the write-up on the seatbelt conversion I ordered everything from Greg ($$$??) and will be counting on some possible assistance from you. When trying to perfect the install as you have!

I am not trying to push anybody out of this community. The few cases where I have indeed run folks off, they righteously deserved it (Jun, homophobes, racists....). I said nothing to Dean about leaving our forum, it never so much as crossed my mind. I do not chase folks from thread to thread, can disagree and blast them in one thread, comment on how much I like their ride in the next. Buy them breakfast at the Convention. Hell, I've fought (argued vehemently) with both Joe (Happynole, Super Moderator) and Blairellis in the last few months, and I consider both of them friends.

You are indeed in good company sir. Lynchfourtwenty (earned my utmost respect), half the Staff, my wife, LEO's across Texas, school Administrators, my Managers (whom I literally protected with my life itself), my therapist.....and you sir. You have my respect as well for speaking your mind about my oftentimes controversial conduct.

In hindsight, perhaps I was a bit too aggressive, I'll concede that much. I could have been more delicate, tactful and diplomatic (the story of my life). However, my basic underlying message on this suspension matter and Deans opinion stands firm.

Been working on this civilized behavior thing, that most others find so natural, my entire life.

I even edited and toned down my response to you. A couple of times.

No problems. I try to contribute to our knowledge base in any way I can.

With respect,

These pics are indeed helpful because I'm getting ready to install a progress rear sway myself. Pretty looking car and pictures, Dean.
