P10 brake upgrade question (master cylinder)
So people,
i did already a break upgrade on my p10, and was going from GA16DE to eGT SR20DE front calipers.
Now the problem is that i still use my old master cylinder, and have in plan to put in the
eGT BM-50 1" master cylinder!
To be honest, the brake upgrade was a big jump and it feels much better wit the bigger breaks,
but my brake pedal way is a lot longer, and to stop the car you have to push it real strong.
So end of discussion, in the car has to go the BM-50 1" cylinder!

The other problem is that my GA master cylinder is non ABS and the eGT that i already have
is a ABS! The GA has 4 brake outlets, the eGT has only 2.
Have done some resarch, and have seen many silvia and skyline guys that made a "T" and
they say its working with no problems.
In few months i am planning to get in my SR20DE thats collecting dust in my garage, going turbo... so
thats one point more to get there, and probably going on 300zx calipers soon and rear brake upgrade.
So did anybody done that already and if yes please join the thread

Pictures comming soon, have a lot of work these days!

The BM-50 isn't needed. The eGT front calipers are tiny!

People have done 4 piston caliper front conversion and are using BM-44. Which is plenty!

Iam running Twin piston calipers on the front of my P10 (which are bigger than the eGT) and i ran the BM-44. It worked fine, i did up grade to the BM-50 and it made no differences what so ever.

I have no idea why nissan put them BM50 on the egt. Seems like a very big cylinder for tiny breaks!

You can get BM44 master cylinders with 4 outlets.

yeah i know, but i already have the BM-50, and i forgot to notice that i am
in south europe so here is always hard to get things for nissans like the BM-44
And why not make it with the BM-50 that i already have, and if it works, its
a good choice for other people that have same plans
I am not concerned abot the safety at all, only thing that i was thinking,
is the ABS BM-50 same as the other non ABS BM`s inside, or does the
ABS have some internal "thing" that`s special intended only for the ABS?!
If they are same internal, i see no reason why don`t do that, in fact the
non ABS have just drilled the extra other holes
Other thing, the ABS module thing is a pretty large box, and if the BM-50
can fill it up and send to 4 calipers, why couldn`t he do that direct with some
"T" blocks.
so look under whats my plan, and could this work?

My experience you can find both 2 and 4 port master cylinders in both abs and non abs cars.

I don't think they are different. My first turbo p10 which was non abs, I used a BM 50 cylinder. I parted that car out and i used the same cylinder in my new P10 which is ABS. Both cars breaking was identical and the MC works fine.

Many people are using the 2 port with no ABS. The bigger piston should need a shorter push on the pedal to apply the same hydrolic force.

Thanks people on the help, i will probably going with 300zx calipers soon so it
has to be safer with the BM-50.
I was thinking to get a adjustable proportioning valve before the "T" for the rear
brakes, to avoid locking the rear wheels, like this one, as i dont have any stock mounted on my car. Its a big possibility that the rears
will lock before the fronts because of the bigger master. So like this
