By being a perennial favorite of Sport Compact Car, the B13 SE-R was Mike Kojima's poster car for "cheap stock suspension easily made worse" in his suspension tech series.

Suspension Tech - Sport Compact Car Magazine

Very topical read.

Please try to not confuse the issue and muddy the discussion with facts, logic, and knowledge.

the rear damper dimensions used for the coilovers i made are the same as an old impreza, but the dampening and rates are much much different due to the extremely light rear on a sentra. if all you want to do is go lower, then racelands will work. However, if you want to handle well and be safe they are not even an option. In my opinion Ksports and D2s are garbage and have been know to break on the track so I would never trust my life and car on a set of racelands. Even if you do manage to adapt the impreza coilovers to a b13 they wont be even close to correct, they wont have brake line brakets, and they wont have the rear swaybar bracket... save your time and money and just get some other chinese junk coilovers like ksports or d2s for a couple bucks more. If you want to handle well on a budget then the best options are fortune and progress. If you want to build a car that is competitive you need custom coilovers since the b13 lacks support from high end manufactures, even with fortune you can only get the base model and not the crazy double adjustable, inverted dampers with remote reservoirs.

Wow.This has been gone over about a bazillion times, and it's really become tiresome.Pioneering your own ideas is fine-if you have done your homework.Just randomly coming up with a half-baked idea based (seemingly) on $$ just sounds sad. There are well thought out, tried and true, fact based solutions available. Some are more cost effective than others. But for a car that hasn't been made in almost 20 years, all the good solutions are listed on this very site.Nothing new is gonna pop up.Don't get all pissy when you don't get a lot of support for this idea. We've all been where you are now, learned from our mistakes and moved on.Good luck with what sounds like an earth shattering breakthrough.

And yes,I meant to sound like a complete dick.I'm an old man,I no longer care.
