Are you referring to the trailing arm bushing that the whole assembly pivots on? I wouldn't think that would take the place of the anti sway bar.

Look at the first few posts, it was mentioned that it makes a huge difference. If you consider how the beam can have side deflection and flex, this makes sense on why it would help.

Yes the trailing arm bushes.
Think about it. The beam is attaches to the chassis with a dirty great big bolt right in the middle. Its not really going to move left and right a great deal. Most movement will occur on the trailing arms due to the squishy stock bushes. Its a night and day difference fitting poly bushes.
It feels better and performs better without the rear arb and the polys fitted. Its a cheap and quite simple to do mod.
My cars not a daily its a fast road and track car.

Any videos of the beam in action e.g. in a corner, so we can view more? The first video just looks like the guy is just putzing around town.
@wildmane Russell made it happen.

replacing any 10-15 year old rubber suspension bushing (even with stock ones) makes a huge difference in handling

Some picture from my findings today.

Whiteline vs Addco bars:

B15 rear beam is a lot skinner then the P11 & Maxima ones:

Installed the mounting point on one arm.

Other arm wasn't so successful

If the bushing didn't go so low this could be still usable

Another point of contact

This bar can be usable, you need Addco rear bushings though, and a small exhaust.

Instead I installed ES bushings and Addco bar back. Tried to keep the bushings as far out and as far back as it goes on the arms.

Stock bushings do suck, they are pretty much built to deflect a ton. Look at the thin strip that actually has contact with the metal.

I wish I grabbed the picture of the ES bushings, but they have a bit bigger contact patch, but they also have shaved ends for some deflection.

Car does seem to handle a bunch more, I'll see how body roll is on that downhill S turn hopefully tomorrow.
