Thread: U13 MC upgrade for a b13??

My MC went on my b13, so I'm planning on doin the u13 upgrade as I have ad22 brakes on it.

Question 1) Can I order the Usdm altima? Or does it have to be a japan made altima?(sorry if that's a "dumb" question, but for the ad22 it had to be the japan made nx2k hence the question)

Question 2) is it a direct bolt on? (I saw the gspec one and it does say "direct bolt on" bit not sure of thats just his kit)

Question 3) Also, pulling a used u13 MC recommended? Or no?

If you have AD22's in front, and SE-R/NX USDM rears, you want to duplicate the NX USDM set-up and use the proper USDM NX master cylinder.

If you have AD22's in front and Maxima/P10 rears, then you want the Altima MC, which is duplicating the "Nissan Autobahn" brakes from the EDM NX.

In either case, you are trying to keep your brakes the same as factory brakes so that the proportioning and bias is already figured out by the Nissan engineers.

I finally upgraded to the u13 mc... If all goes accordingly, this Tuesday I should be buying the ser rear disc conversion.
