Problem with steering (suspention or steering?)
So I just installed my KYB AGX with Hyperco Gen2.
The car drives to either the right or the left side. kind of like it is binding on something.
I have it aligned.
guy tells me that he cant align because the inner tie rod is screwed up. This is a new rack and pinion about 3 months old mind you with new tie rods that are 3 months old as well.
I say ok. Go home and replace the inner tie rod.
Go to sears to have it aligned. Guy tells me there that my bushings on my steering rack are bad. I replace that after dropping the trans and replacing 14hrs work.
Now it is still doing the same thing. sometimes it drives straight, sometimes it wants to go right, sometimes it wants to go left and feels like it is binding.

Does anyone think it could be the struts and springs are on incorrectly??

Wheel bearing? Tire balanced correctly?

Did they give you a print out? What is the camber and caster at?

Feels like the artist is binding up. What should I look for to fix?

I would pull your struts out and check the top plate. They call it a mount/bearing. I have seen those start to bind and cause issues like this.

I may just do that then.
Could I have tightened it down too much on the top plate smashing the bearing?

^^^^i dont think so due to ur not really compressing on the mount its self, the whole spring is moving down with it unless u went ape shit after the last turn and looked for more. the bearings on the plate could be dry and no good, possible the mounting cap on the bearings is slightly off centered. itts really hard to say. aftermarket hats

I am using the mounts that came with the car with new bushings. The bushings are a little more larger than the ones that I replaced.
