Technically, wrong.

In "slang" the picture he used is actually a Blade, Dub, or Donk. Not a rim.

I stand corrected. "Alloy" is still a legit name for almost all steel and aluminum wheels.
Steel is a 99.xx% iron/ 0.xx% carbon alloy and most aluminum wheels are a 99.56% aluminum/0.44% silicon, copper and/or magnesium alloy. So yah, I guess the name still applies. But to both steel and "aluminum" wheels. Unless you want to say "alloy" is short for "aluminum alloy".

Yep. "Pure" aluminum would be very, very soft. Wheels are made from various aluminum alloys.

So can i say i have 16" beads on my car? Refering to the tire of course. Some one needs to make a matrix on how all of these are linked, related, and interchangable.

And that the earth is not spherical, but round, and flat on two sides. Like a cookie.
