I have the same problem in my front passenger side.

Good pads,rotrs,caliper.
Brakes work great.
You can hear it just at slow speeds like under 15mph...just as you come to a stop.If you let off the brakes it goes away.
Only that side,you cant feel it.

Thinking maybe axle,but it is fine if you let off the brakes???

check your axle and make sure its tight. Grinding sound huh or more like cruching metal?

@jen

Yes indeed. A cruching metal sound! Exactly! I really can't pin point it to the caliper,rotor,pads,dust shield. Well, I guess it only leaves me to the axle? but the sound only occur when pressing the brakes. That's why I'm so bothered that i can't trace it to the braking system. Maybe cv joint?wheel bearing?

Could be a bad LSD, but that is rare, and I think it makes that sound at other times too? Sharp turns for example...

Have someone ride along side of you and see if your wheel is wobbling at all. Sounds like what was said before in that the wheel bearing is bad. You can also jack your car and see if you can push the wheel into the wheel well and pull it out. Shouldn't move horizontally at all. Of course the bearing is going to have to be pretty bad to be able to notice that way.

Could be you just need to repack them, could need a total replacement. Won't know until you dive into them. I think that is your last thing to check since you covered almost everything else.
