another great reason to switch to coilovers, you can run up to a 245 if you set things up right and 225 without any real work.

I would be a somewhat careful when buying wheels, especially the 'knock-off" brands. Yes, many of us can't just dump $1.5K on some Volks. But heres a little incident that happened with someone running XXR wheels, it made me a bit more careful when purchasing wheels. http://jdmchicago.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20513 I'm not saying this is going to happen to you, but it is a possibility.
I would suggest getting the 6UL's that BenFenner suggested.
But just like other's have said, if you switch to coilovers, you can run 225's fairly easy.

thats what they get for taking off very highend stock evo wheels and putting on the cheapest wheels in production. evos are very heavy and thats a big weak wheel design. i have tracked on rotas and drivin on the very very very bad streets of richmond for years on them and never had the slightest issue. cast wheels are cast wheels. if you are worried about that get forged wheels. A sentra is worth like $1500 max so spending more than that on wheels is dumb. get cheap wheels and if you break one, spend another $100 and get a new one.

jjkamikaze, you're just chock-a-block full of good advice aren't you?

Cast wheels are all created equal. The only thing better is a forged wheel.
Rota wheels aren't total and utter shit.
Spending more on wheels than you did on your car is somehow a bad idea.
$150 per wheel is expensive.
People who recommend good fitment somehow would never recommend wider than a 205 tire.
It takes aftermarket coilovers to fit wider than a 205 tire on these cars.

What other gems you got for us?

You're making all kinds of assumptions there Champ. You and I do not have the same mind-set nor definition as to what is dumb. I'd also guess you are not in my age nor income tax bracket.

I recently spent more than $1,500.00 on a set of custom headlights for my Classic. A wise purchase that I am very happy about. If the wheels I wanted on my SE-R cost $400-500 per wheel, I wouldn't even blink.

Those 949's pictured are the least expensive wheel I have ever pondered or considered.

Get cheap wheels and replace them if/as they break? Not on my ride. No way no how. Not in this lifetime.

I hate when people post stories like this and then make an assumption as to WHY they broke and then say "well, they are cheap ass wheels, so that's what you get." That is the biggest bunch of crap and gets right under my skin!! (no offense to you or anything)

Has anyone here ever seen a set of CCWs been destroyed before?? Well, I have, and you know what, they were expensive FORGED 18x10 in wheels that cost upwards of 1000 a piece............And the car has only been to Summit Point which DO NOT have FIA spec rumble strips.

I am pretty sure all these people who are bitching about rotas has never seen a set of Volk, CCW or Forgeline Wheels get destroyed at the track. All wheels can fail just as Rota/XXR/or any other cheap wheels do. Its HOW the wheel is treated is what's important.

My point is, cheap (wheels) does not necessarily equal shitty quality. Me personally would much prefer to run cheap ol wheels on the street and be careful of my driving habits than risk my $2000 set of track wheels because I want to look "cool". Screw that!!!

Sometimes I wonder how people think..............

P.S Barney, this rant is NOT directed towards you, just in general and all the crap I see posted all the time

Reminds me of that Rota C8 which got posted a while back stating shitty quality, but then it came out that the wheels have been tracked for years and developed multiple cracks along the wheel which the owner decided to ignore.

Do not believe everything you read...........DO your own damn research........

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
END RANT

P.S thank God those got destroyed because I hate the XXR 522 as they are ugly as sin!!
