Yeah, I think Kyle is referring to B14's. I'm pretty sure the attachment point issue doesn't apply when dealing with B13's. The Progress and the Whiteline would attach in a similar fashion. For B13's I think it's more of a tuning thing as to which bar would work the best. In addition to diameter thickness, I would think the length of the arm matters as to how "stiff" the thing is. A comparison test on the same car would be a cool thing for someone to do and post up the results. Perhaps use a time measured approach like that at an autox or something to determine their differences and attributes.

The design for the B14 Progress rear bar is inferior to Whiteline, IMO. I like the fact that the Whiteline bar connects to the frame, where as the Progress bar does not. It's the reason I went with it.

I am going to change the Suspension Thread to reflect this information concerning the B14.

Do you mind if I borrow your pictures and repost them?

Nice info Coors.

Progress for the B13 rear. No doubt.

From this thread, Whiteline for the B14.

Sorry coors, I was talking about B14s and Whiteline and other products since this is Hanks thread about his B14 and Whiteline rear sway bar.

Shorter arm length = stiffer.

Longer arm length = less stiff.

Easy way to test results, find empty parking lot, begin driving in circles, slowly accelerating until the point of tire screeching is heard. Once the tires screech, you know are close to the tire slip angle reaching the precipice of grip and they will soon break and VOILA, you will discover the rotational capability of your car.

Just be careful with B14 bars guys!!!! Get a Whiteline!

Road tested it but didn't get a chance flog it in the turns. Maybe tomorrow. There was no noticable decrease in ride quality. I'll keep you guys posted, as far as handling improvments.

I found it on Ebay thru this vendor: Never Enough Auto Call us 877.609.6727 Aftermarket Automotive Parts

They no longer have an Ebay listing for it. You may want to call. The part number is BNR21Z.

Thanks for the head up, guys. That's the one I had on my eBay watch-list. It's ended and never got re-listed, though.

I found this one for only GBP 99 (155 bucks). Too bad it's from UK.

Whiteline

It's a little pricey, but you can get it directly from Whiteline.

Look at the Whiteline website under "Where can I buy". It will show you local dealers. My local dealer in Atlanta got parts from Calif. for me in a week or so.
