not all of them, Basic and SS yes. HR or RA's I have to strongly disagree, they are in a Class of there own.

also, I don't know why people keep trying to use something named "Super Street) as a track suspension. the names says it, it's meant for the streets and they are great for it.

to answer your question, yes GC camber plates works on TEIN SS.

I will take pictures of the the spacers and what is needed as soon as i get some time sunday. I will even explain them and give you the measurements.

You're awesome! That would be amazing. What do you think about sending out the Tein's to Feal suspension or Fortune auto to revalve them and stuff? Would I be able to make them track spec with that route?

*same question as above with Feal and Fortune.

As far as Teins "sucking", Bimmer World recommends them for BMWs. At least I know I won't be stuck with something that no one wants to rebuild or buy if I decide to sell.

All of this. I could still sell the Tein's for a good price if I chose too.

Have had HA and RA on an s13. Garbage. Period. As far as improving your SS units, it can be done with springs and revalving. They use a common Chinese internal setup. I don't think fortune will rebuild a tein but ill ask.

They use cheap materials and coatings that always rust out. Instead if making better stuff Tein just offers a "rust proof spray". The internals on a tein are no better than any other tiawan units( yes tein is made in Taiwan) but cost twice as much. The piston size is small and the shaft is very small and weak. They utilize a twin-tube design which is much lower in performance that a monotube like you would find on any good damper. Progress and fortune and other good brands use a monotube construction where only the highest price super expensive teins offer this. Springs are very cheap generic material and also poorly coated resulting in springs that rust enough to break! Tein upper pillow balls are not made of stainless like they should be and rust and seize. Good coilovers are hard anodized aluminum or nickle plated steel. Cheap green paint is not an acceptable coating.

here is some Tein quality. These are the expensive HA units you think are better than basics or SS but thats just advertising they are all junk. I would take meagan racing junk over teins.

lucky, Alright that's cool. I hope Fortune or Feal will deal with the Tein's or else they're going up for sale.

first measure the inner diameter of the GC spherical top bearing.

then measure the diameter of the shock shaft at the top where its threaded

then make or buy 2 bushings that look like this. left is the top right is the bottom. they need to be stepped or flared like this so everything will bolt together nice and tight. These basicly just fill the space between the shaft and the bearing so there is no slop.

you need to measure the depth of the bearing to determan how deep each bushing needs to sit in the bearing. nothing too tough to do here. you can just take your parts to a machine shop and explain what you want.

Simple enough, I have a micrometer as well. Would be better off trading for a set of progress coilovers aned having them valved for swift springs?

The nuts Ground Control provides with their camber plates are flared to fit INSIDE the spherical top bearings, so you don't want the spacer to be flared.
The spacers are a simple cylinder shape, like what came with the Teins, just a different length to match the GC camber plates.
