Calling All Wheel Gurus...16"x7" RPF1s
Part 1: It is my understanding that the 15" RPF1s will not clear the 11" BBK. My question is...by how much? If it is minimal, is it safe to assume the 16" RPF1s will fit?

Part 2: Assuming the Will 16"x7" (+35) RPF1s with 225/50R16 fit the B14? I want to run the widest tire I can get away with. Anyone have pics of 16" RPF1s on their B14?

what offset 15" RPf1's? if it's in the 35's it will clear the 11" and 11.75".

I do think the 11" kit should clear the 15" RPF1. It is usually a matter of getting the spokes to clear the caliper face, and that's an offset/spacer issue. The brakes should fit inside the 15" diameter though.

And if the spokes on the 15" wheel don't clear at a certain offset, there's no guarantee the 16" version won't suffer from the same clearance issue at a similar offset.

also, you can run 235's on the b14 cause it has shocks in the rear unlike the b13.

bad picture but you can see the B14 next to the pulsar, that has 15x8 949 and running 235/45 r15. no spacer needed at all.

edit: found better pics of the car

Hmmm...I was under the impression that RPF1s won't fit anything bigger than the AD22s per this thread:

Is the issue simply because the calipers don't have enough clearance with the spokes and not the actual inner diameter of the rims on a 15"? If that is the case, then it seems that some ARP wheel studs & spacers will take care of that issue, eh?

Give me a break...I was never a wheel type of guy. My area of expertise is under the hood

I'm interested in the +35 offset choice.

I saw some pics on the back/inner side of the 15" RPF1s. Those that are familiar with the rims will recognize that the bore steps down to approximately 12". Check these pics as a reference:

For reference, here are my 15" wheels, and the 11" kit only has a couple millimeters clearance inside the barrel.

I hope this helps. This is a konig helium for reference. From the face of the rotor to the bottom of the spoke is any where from 2.8-3.0". At the closest point of the spoke I only have 3-4mm of room.
