Manual Steering Conversion Part Needed!
Hey everyone!

I am currently in the middle of a manual conversion on my 1992 SE-R and I am having trouble finding the u-joint needed to complete the conversion. I have the rack, the boots, and the tie rod ends.

Anyone on here have one? If so, let me know how much you want for it shipped to 28409.

Thank you all!!

Make sure you really want to do it first. It's nice on the highway but in parking lots a PITA.

You need to find an "e" model sentra(b13)
Thats a key part you need when you get the rack and other parts to do the swap.
Maybe you can get one from rockauto or something.Otherwise junkyard will be the only option

It is gonna be a track only car, so I am very sure that this is a mod I want to make.

Also, I have the rack, the tie rods, and the mounts already. Just need the u-joint. It is
not available from Nissan anymore, so it is looking like its time to go junkyard shopping!

Come drive up to PA and you can have the parts in mine for free. If you do the swap and convert mine back to power steering

I did the line loop method on the forum and at speed no diff. Under 30-20 a little harder and a bitch when standing. But I much prefer it with manual steering. The manual rack will be easier to turn but will have more turns lock to lock. From what I understand the people who get the manual rack miss the turn in response of the power rack.

In parking lots, it's a pain in the ass.
