evo brembos with 16 inch wheels
ok, im not much of a forum junkie, but i know others here are. I realized after my friend totalled his evo that i could use his calipers/rotors on my nx2000 if i used the s13/s14 adapter brackets that are floating around out there along with a b15 hub/spindle assembly (I was going to use 300zx calipers....but brembos are just cooler/funnier). PLUS i could use a stock size evo rotor, which means i could go with a slotted/drilled blank (yes, i know im a ricer) what im trying to figure out is this....i have 16 inch wheels, that id like to keep. will 16s clear this setup on a 240? I would imagine the number of people having tried this on a b13 is SMALL, so im only using rwd chassis as a comparison base. i know most people are using 17s these days on 240s, but i want to maintain a 45 series tire, and on a nx2000 thats not going to happen with a 17. PLUS it will just look stupid. Trying to avoid debate as to wether this is "worth" it, trust me, at the price im getting them at its worth it. i just want to be able to clear 16s. anybody have any input?

Probably depends on spoke design. Think there is a p10 guy running evo brembos with 16x8 regamasters.

I have a hard time seeing 16s fitting over Brembos from an evo (well, most if not all wont fit I believe). The calipers are rather large. However, I I have heard of TE37s with small offsets fitting over them, but nothing else.

Actually, let me ask this, what 16s do you have in mind??

old skool battle exe's. i know, nothing exciting. i took a look, good amount of room.....seems like thered be room. have to take a wheel over to the evo and test fit it.

Definitely alot of modification may be needed...
Just some ideas.......redrill rotor, bracket mods for caliper, either grinding the cradle or using longer studs with spacers or both to compensate for thickness of rotor.....

nothing i havent done before with 300zx brakes. not concerned about the fab work, just really wondering about caliper clearance. as b15/s13 brake combos are switchable, you use the aftermarket bracket for the s13/evo swap. as youd already be 4x114 due to the b15 hubs, you can use the 4x114 evo rotor drilled for a 4 lug lancer. as the backspacing is not a problem rotor wise with s13/s14 conversions, id imagine the same to hold true on a b13. anyways, just thinking it over. probably just going to have to do measurments and test fitment to find out.

B15 brembos would be cheaper and easier.

Yep i do agree cause i use r33 rotors and calipers on my car but definitely you have to get rims with serious offset to fit though
