Axle issues do to suspension anyone?
Has anyone had issues replacing an axle do to adding lowering springs?

1st off, I have kybgr2's and Megan springs which give me a 2" front drop and 1.75" rear drop on my 94 4dr b13

2nd maybe 2 weeks or so after installing the suspension my axle snaps. So I go and pull one out of an nx2k with the 1.6 motor. Didn't fit

3rd. I go and buy a brand new axle, and axle seal and my issue now is my axle isn't sitting flush w/ my tranny. The teeth click into the tranny but leaves a little gap from tranny and axle.

I really don't want to get rid of the car do to this axle issue. But man its becoming a pita.

I checked for bent Lca(fail)
Checked motor mounts (fail)
Put her on alignment rack to check sai. (fail)

Any suggestions will be helpful. I don't get why such the issue. Very irratating

I don't get why folks have such an issue with research. Very irritating.

Why? Because you did not read the Suspension Thread. You fucked with your suspension without doing any research. Research that is VERY easy since someone was kind enough to put all the pertinent information in one thread, specifically so folks would not fuck up their suspension due to ignorance.

You have 3-inches of stock travel.

You lost 66.6% of your front travel, plus about 55% of your rear travel, with those absolutely shitty Megan springs, which were not designed correctly. My educated guess is there was zero R&D at Megan. You want to bet on whether Megan had an actual B13 to test?

You combined shit-springs with nothing more than OEM-replacement struts. Look for your struts to prematurely fail soon, right now they are being hammered with excessive forces they were never meant to deal with. You are also bottoming out your suspension all the time, whether you know it (deny it) or not.

Overlowering our vehicles results in your suspension geometry getting all fuxored. Putting a ton of strain and wear and tear on all of your suspension components, including your axles (and factory replacement struts).

You should throw those Megan springs in the garbage.

Jesus Christ

1) I read everything that I could before buying any suspension parts
2) many people have there own opinion on everything so just because people say "this shit sucks" shouldn't take there word for granted 100%
3) kyb gr.'s have done fine on my other daily driven vehicle as well as for many people I know hence why I went with that choice
4th) no need to be such a DICK about shit and be disrespectful to anyone

"Why? Because you did not read the Suspension Thread. You fucked with your suspension without doing any research. Research that is VERY easy since someone was kind enough to put all the pertinent information in one thread, specifically so folks would not fuck up their suspension due to ignorance"

5th) I don't have to deny anything. If you would have said, "prepare for the shocks/struts to prematurely fail" I would have taken it into consideration.
6th) assuming things isn't the best thing to do. You assuming I had not bothered reading anything on suspension.

Yes the ride w/ the megans suck, yes I will upgrade to ksports once the money is right and my DE/VE is in the 4 door.

You should have came off much more respectful brother. It's all I'm saying.

And this was to Sean B.

It's cool how no ones answered his very simple question of has anyone had an issue changing an axle due to springs and basically brow beat him with all their "interweb knowledge"

Either someone's had a similar issue or they haven't and have a similar setup
If you're not going to answer questions, why chime in?

You asked a question about why your axle failed. Over-lowering the car can lead to the premature failure of an axle. People then pointed out that your car being too low was likely the cause. But you don't want to hear from the 'haters'? Um... OK.
