AD22VF Difficult to find rebuilds?
I called 3 different places. The Zone has 0 rebuilds in NYC, Arch is special order. Do you guys find as these cars get older, that simple parts are getting difficult to find?

Not really. I hardly ever go to the local stores. GregV, or rockauto.com.

RockAuto Parts Catalog

Go to Nissan/1992/2.0L L4/NX/Brake,Wheel Hub/Caliper

Just make sure to pick calipers that include the mounting brackets (aka torque member). You can evaluate this best by looking at the photos. Also, make sure that you are getting a bore diameter of 2.126". If it says, "Japan built," that generally means its the AD22VF caliper with the 2.126" bore.

So, for example, the listed Raybestos FRC10155 and 10156 would be good. They don't include pads, but you would probably want to upgrade their pads anyway. You can't beat that price, either.

Been using Raybestos AD22VF fronts for over a year with Hawk HPS pads and the sucker stops pretty well, especially over stock.

The Raybestos Units I just got are rebuilt Nissan calipers. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I got the JDM rebuilt units. They have all the stamps and markings on the actual set you would get off of a NX2000. I will post picks when I get home.

If you want them a bit cheaper go get them from Amazon.com. I bought both of them from that site for $49. And with the prime account I got free 2 day shipping. Might want to get them fast though as last I checked they only had 1 set left

Also don't know if everyone has noticed, but a lot of these rebuilders are saying they are closing out this model. Probably for the same reason Raxles no longer rebuild SER axles and will only rebuild ones you ship to them. No cores!!
