i was going to get snow tires but the car is all wheel drive, so a good set of all seasons will do just fine but perform alot better when not in snow (90% of our winter) so far it between these two tires. any other recommendations? its a 16 inch wheel and i would prefer a 45 or 50 series side wall and a 215 or 225 section width. stock size is 205/55/16

I used those Goodyear GT-Vs as my last set and they wore really quickly, loud road noise, and screeched terribly when I would push a car, even when I was just driving slightly faster, immediate squeal.

Michelins are awesome tires also. I am on Pilot Exalta A/S now and they are the best I have used.

i think im going to go with the dulops in 225/50/16. while the DSW's do better in snow, the dunlops rate much higher in turn in feel and available grip.

Iv been reading that the sidewalls are sloppy and causes the tread to squirm ALOT. The dunlops got the best rating for handling in their class. The DSW's finished last. But the DSW's are the best in the snow.

I raised the air pressure to 40psi and it took care of that issue

thats retarded. these aint bias ply tires. these are steel belted tires. when you run a psi that high it reduces the useable foot print once it gets hot and rides on the center of the tread.


i was thinking about getting some BFG gForce R1's but i want something just slightly more responsive in the snow. but yea, i started weighting my options. i could go lifted, slap some sway bars on it and some 65 or 70 sidewall all terains and it would look NUTS! but i would have shitty MPG and side wall squirm like no one business!

so, i am moddifying the stock size from a 205/55/16 to a 225/50/16 unless i can find nother tire that comes in 225/45/16

The max inflation on the tire is 51psi. The tire wear is perfect and it rides and handles damn good for a full size car.

Do you drive on a race track like a ricer to work everyday?
