custom coilovers - spring suggestions
Getting a set of custom coilovers and topplates made for the B14, just want to confirm the optimal spring rate.

My thoughts are:
325 front
300 rear

length of springs? 7inch? not sure on this one at all really!

Coilovers will be custom valved to match the desired spring rate with a dyno graph as well.

any help would be much appreciated.

What use are they for? Track / Daily ? How low and what wheel / tire setup are you going with?

I'd go minimum 450 / 400 or ~ 8kg/mm / 7kg/mm

1 to 1.5 inch drop. Daily driver.
205/50/15. On wprk esperio 15x6.5.

Any reason for the 400 spring rate? I've got groundcontrol sleeves with 325 300 springs.

Not looking for anything too stiff. Want a comfortable ride yet still mildly trackable.

I have 7" 450lbs springs up front with my GC's. Id go a little stiffer if I could.

far out! sure that's not too stiff?

read this article and they seem to suggest that 350 and 300 are a good balance between track and street. sort of what i'm going for.

Project 200SX.... Overhauling the suspension. > MotoIQ

I don't want anything jarringly stiff like D2's etc are.

Any other opinions from people running coilovers on street to occasional track day cars?

my B15 had 650lbs all around, it wasn't too stiff but it did have Koni 8611.

...on your P10, can't really compare spring rates to a B14.

B14's need a 6" rear and 7" front spring...or else the rear doesn't drop much. I did 325/R and 350/F when I had my GC's for the street. Autocross was a different story...400/700
