Look at it,when you turn the steering it would go in between the strut and the boot.
Otherwise,besides being dirty,I dont see a problem.

This is possible. Otherwise the car is just really low from a poorly engineered co setup. Thus the splitting boots.

Would fix that boot asap.

really low from a poorly designed coilover? what does that mean

Boots rip, especially when old and after being dropped. If there IS something ripping, it, it should be pretty obvious.

Wait you just asked "what does that mean?" and then answered it in the next sentence.

what does a coilover design have to do with the boots ripping?

That boot lasted one week

I was looking for a Nx for months when this went up for sale. You made a good point when you said I may never find another one this clean for awhile so I bought the car. It's your fault My friend has been helping me with this car since I got it. He had his girl drive the car up the driveway with the wheel cranked. He said he saw the boot hit the tower. I want to see this happen with my very own eyes. Since the car is way to low to begin with I'm gonna raise it and adjust the camber and go from there. And yes you can buy these K sports when I'm done cause they ride liek shit lol. I talked to eggman and he said K sports are the best coilovers for the b13 and should command top dollar.

haha,yeah,your pretty funny.
I dont know about top dollar...they will command at least a dollar....tops

unless there are bolts missing or broken, there is no way the strut can move down to where the boot is.It may look like it,but I am not buying it,onless the car is totally bottommed on the bumpstops...and I dont think that would make them touch.
I have had the same problem, dude.
That abs line has a metal bracket on it and it gets sucked in between there when you turn, and it cuts the boot.
Trust me,turn the wheel all the way to one side with the car on the ground(not rolling) you will see what I mean.
Tie it up outa the way and that problem will be fixed.
Set the car up so its only dropped about an inch and take it to a decent alignment shop to get your camber issues solved.

That will buy you some time until you get the hypercos, and other parts to change it all out to something decent.

Eggman is always promoting Ksports. He swears by them. Or at them...I forget.

its not hitting the boot. I have the same stuff and my strut sits right above the boot like I mean almost touching and it dont hurt it.my abs line bolt came out and the metal cut the boot before.

Hey gum was curious how low you set your ksport in the front? And did you have a problem setting the camber under the hood?appreciate it bro.it seems that we have the same ksport issue for the brake lines in the front.zip tie them to the strut and you should be good

Ya I had someone replace the boot and I zip tied the ABS line to the brake line. I also raised the car way up back to stock, rides better now. So far everything is good. The guy I got it from had it dropped low, I have not messed with the camber at all. I bought the car like this so I'm not familar with what or how any of this was done sorry. I'm getting a Agx/hypercoil set up soon so I'm not to worried about it all to much.
