well they didn't sell for 1500 when they were still available. It was more like 1200-1300. Group buys usually allow for a drop in price. If you can get them to lower the price from the original selling price I'd be interested. I would need the Dan Gardner setup on my set though.

And my BCs weren't stock valving. There are plenty of good shock options IMO, but what makes a shock great is the valving. AST USA has a new piston coming out start of next year that makes me happy in my no-no square. Surprisingly I've seen dynos just like it before tho

You are right about group buys helping the cost go down but don't expect too much with the change in the economy. I ended up getting mine for $1050 but that was 6 years and a lot of inflation ago. They aren't going to sell them for the same prices simply because their costs have gone up.

Those prices were in effect 1-1.5 years ago when they were still available. Inflation won't change things that much in that time span.
