Prettywhite, remind me which Eibachs are on your vehicle, IIRC it is the Pro Kits?

Which end of the vehicle did that Koni come off of?

With the CSK's and Pro Kits you *should* have only lost 0.2" of travel, and increased the spring rate a bit (20-25%) over the stock spring rate.

Eibach Pro Kit with Koni CSK. That was the front left. It has been on there 3 years.

ian, i trimmed the lower half off the es bump stop, right at the line, once u get a set ull know exactly what im talking about.

i have never ever bottomed out my strut, and if it ever came close my es bump stop saved it from doing so, so like i said i never heard the bang, and i went over some nasty shit on the island and in the city.

stratton.

Wow. Time flies.

If it has been 3-years, I'd just replace the bumpstops and keep right on truckin.' Coulda been a fluke bumpstop failure, or as veilside pointed out, you might be using those Koni bumpstops as a normal part of the spring rate.

In the front you have only lost 0.2-inches (two tenths of an inch) of travel, while you increased your spring rate from 123 to 150. I cannot imagine that being the issue.

IF it was an issue, then you would have the exact same Koni destruction on a stock suspension.

How do you like the ride? I bet it's a damn comfy daily driver suspension.

OMG. I love it. The ONLY reason I kept the Eibachs. My brother and his friend had a 71 510 with some 25+ year old Konis on it and the car still felt rock hard, that's why I went with Konis.
