Rob, not getting into clearance and fitment issues.. you are generally looking at all of the tires that are being used in the STS catagory of Autocrossing. Depending on how "spirited" you drive you may have them worn out in a summer. In fact.. I know you will have them worn out in a summer.. what am I thinking. Just get the ones with the best grip and be done with it.. and enjoy . I want to hear of some 4th gear chirps with the "rob power shift method". ... For money's sake I would chose the Azenis or the Nitto. What size of wheel are you mounting them on? If you can stuff 225s up front I would go for that... A friend of mine around the Largo area once had 245s up front on 15s for his SCCA ITA car.. so it can be done.

by seeing the azenis fit in the 205 size makes me think the rs3s shall fit just as good..with the agx hypercoil combo....

comparison between 205 azenis ans 225 rs3s

Uh, I have a set of RS3s on my track car and they don't look anything like the two in the pic. 225/45/15s are pretty wide and may be a bit challenging if combined with a KYB AGX setup. My AGX/RM setup before the coilovers rubbed the housing with no spacer but 5mm ones barely worked without rolling the fender wells in the rear. Pic shown looks like the Azenis RT-215 and the Hankook RS2. The RS3s are a very good track tire for the money but only have a treadwear rating of 180 and need plenty of heat to work their magic. If you are worried about making your tires last and it's more of a daily driver I suggest the Star Specs. If you want awesome grip for a great price and treadwear is no biggie then RS3s are hard to beat. When warmed up they stick like Gorilla Glue IMO.

Dropping this article here: Street Touring and Track Day Tire FAQ - UTQG 140+ | Facebook

I was about to order Z1's but might be getting AD08's now since they did second best in dry and wet.

Went with AD08's in 205/50/15 flavor for the P11. They were $123 a piece due to some promos at DiscountTiredirect.com
