Wheel spacers?
So I made some .250 inch spacers for my car, I installed them on the rear wheels.
I noticed my car feels a little more stable through turns, is this all in my head or would this extra half inch of width make that much of a difference?

It must have made a difference, because my little bro (who isn't a car guy ) noticed it too

You've increased the rear track of your car. It definately has an effect. Here's a site I found where there's some discussion about effects of wider track widths: Automotive suspension engineering - Front/rear track width effects. I'm still trying to decipher what it all means.

I am no expert but I don't understand why you would want just the rear to be more stable. I do agree that it would. The rear track is narrower intentionally to make the rear end a little loose. This helps the car point into turns better, to take this away makes the front plow worse than it already does.

Are you super slammed or running weird/large wheel and tire combo or something?
