It took me over 9,000 hours of searching Google, but I think this has what you're looking for.

Anything you do for dual purpose will be a compromise. It will be so-so for both and great at nothing. My recommendation would be bigger anti-sways and a extra set of wheels/r-comps for the track days. Don't forget the track pads/rotors/hi-temp fluid. For occasional track encounters, it's the best way to spend your money without making you daily ride a pain to live with. Old guy, "been there done that" advice, for what it's worth.

i'd go 350f/ 300r for a compromise setup. I have 350f/250r and could handle/prefer a little more stiffness in the rear springs.

Just a thought if he is compromising with spring rates would he not be better off using slightly less tire than an R-comp? I always consider Susp/Tire/brakes a three way cross-correlation. If he is running what I think we can agree is a performance street setup with his springs he might be better running a tire within the same performance spectrum ie a RS3 or Starspec and an HPDE pad like the hp+ or carbotech xp8/xp10 even on the track.

This way one aspect is not going to be overwhelming the others. Though I do agree tire is one area that can be beyond the others as it will force both brakes and susp to work better I just think you need to be careful over improving one area too far over the others

ie. scraping door handles and running out of susp travel running r-comps in stock class autox

PS I only have 1 track day and 3 autox under my belt so I am no expert; just my 2cents.

First, are you asking about direct-replacement springs, or springs to use on a coilover set-up?

Your answer for a direct replacement spring, per Mike Kojima and Dave Coleman is contained in the link below.

You might want to read/skim that thread before you start modifying your suspension. Educate yourself before you start plunking down your cash.

This would be a direct link to a current Group Buy on the replacement springs that were designed and tested by Mike Kojima and Hypercoil for your exact stated purpose.

Will work quite well with AGX struts, or better yet CSK's (Custom Shortened Konis).
