Tallest Tire for 01 Non T
2001 g20 Luxury with stock suspension.

I want to keep stock 15" wheels but want the tallest tire that fits without issue for ride comfort. I don't do a lot of heavy hauling but don't want turning radius decreased or rubbing under normal loads and speed bumps.

What size would you recommended?

Do you mind that the speedometer will be off?

Never thought about that. Guess that's what Ben is for.

I think it makes sense to keep the speedo correct within reason and a compromise could be made.

Tire rack lists two sizes, but as we know that's not all the options.

Original Equipment Size 2: 195/60-15
Original Equipment Size 1: 195/65-15

My last car I rolled the fenders, this car I'm just going to roll down the road.

Regular G20 OEM tire size is the 195 65 15. The G20T OEM tires size is 195 60 15.

I think 195/70/15 is probably the sweet spot. It should fit just fine. Speedo will read too slow by 3.1%. Availability isn't great, but any taller and I think you'll find zero street options (versus off-road).

Thank you.

Unless you want to go thinner for less rolling resistance and better economy...

That would be nice but I'm really going first and foremost for the maximum luxury ride.

I sometimes work late at night, then have to drive 100 miles at midnight. The last thing I want to do is ride on a wooden roller coaster.

I would stick with stock tire size. 70 series is pretty big. Something might be wrong if the stock ride isnt comfortable enough in a p11.

I have 65's on there now. Ben and I were talking about my wheel shake over 60mpg in another thread. This P11 rides fine at 50mph but at 70, it's a different beast.
