Yeh i wanted to get one of the kind of bars that you guys use in the USA so i could back to back comparison them, but expensive to ship to AU.

Yea, I know about shipping. I live in The Cayman Islands so I have to pay for shipping to Miami, FL. and then to Cayman. Hopefully I can get mine done soon. Just waiting on the links to arrive. Then comes the fun.

Well, finally got around to it and I must say that it is a good improvement over just bolting it to the beam.

I still have some work to do on it like to install some spacers to keep the bearing centered as well as installing another heim join to the bar side. did not have much space for the other female joint i had so will be ordering a male.

Turn in is much sharper and worth the time and money. About 30 bucks for everything.

Excellent work cayman_primera, I'm now tempted to do the same, much cheaper then digging to Australia to get a whiteline bar.

Pep Boys is a retailer of Whiteline products.

I was dead set on making my own setup like you but chose not to in fear of SCCA rules and it not being a bolt on bar. I figured out that a front sway bar for a 85-87 corvette fit perfectly inside/under the beam. I wanted them to link up like the whiteline setup but didn't get that far and gave in to whitelines awesomeness. Plus I didn't have to source parts and scrounge around in junkyards etc...

Props to you for completing the job.

I got my whiteline bar from eBay for like $214 shipped to my door.

It gets my two thumbs up. As an added bonus, i think it looks badass from the back of the car.

For that price I would get it myself! I want to see if B14 would fit on B15, because if B14 one doesn't fit on P11 I have to find a way to get rid of it.

Some updates, B14 bar will not mount on B15/P11 because B15/P11 don't have a removable break line holder.

B14:

B15 and P11:

Here is what Whiteline BNR28 for B15 looks like

I'm trying to get my hands on one soon, I will try to use it on the P11 soon, if it fails then it will go on the B15 (Which has a Nismo bar currently), Nismo bar then can go on the P11 .

I've been thinking about this more, and something hit me, doesn't this technically eliminate the ability of the beam to move up and down, thus your putting stress on the bar and on the mounting points. Did your ride comfort decrease any after install?

Not at all. That what the heim joints are for. In the first pic I could see some binding there with the poly bushings. I didn't notice any more noise or vibration. Just the response was better. Right now the joints are clunking because they need replacing.( Should have used some dust boots). The good thing is you can alsways go back if you don't like it.
