I have had 2 sets of d2 coil overs. They are better suited for the track then the street. I still have a set on my b13. I actually think I will be changing my spring rates and will go stiffer front/rear. I have also owned tein ss and flex coil overs. they are by far a better coil over than the d2/ksport/megan. I also like the progress coil over but do not like that they do not come with camber plates. For a full track car I would have advanced design coil overs or custom units made. I also looked at the bc coil overs and the spring rates do not look right from what I know works. That does not mean they are bad but they may be valved different. I have also driven the all popular hyprco/agx setup and it rode worse than the d2's did on the street.

HA is not high end in the TEIN range, there are at least 2 levels above them. Unfortunately not available for the B13 though, only B14, so i guess the HA's are highest level of that product for the B13, but still a different type of product to the 'cheap' stuff..

The HA's may be marginally better than the "crap."

However, Steve Foltz (98sr20ve) and Veilside180sx are completely UN-impressed with what Tein has available for the B13 chassis.

I'd trust either of those gentlemen's judgement over anybody's judgement in this entire thread. All day long, every single day of the week, no questions whatsoever.

Steve Foltz thinks that they are crap as well, and thinks the Koni route is a much, much better way to go.

Hmmmmm.....Steve and Rich or the folks throwing out opinions in this thread?

Mostly for Track days SCCA status.. Alot of Bad reviews on D2 and Ksports.. Those were the #1 choice i was going with..

I've got more than $900.00 in chassis bracing on my street driven Classic, before I ever started on my suspension components.

If you are track prepping your car, the very best investment you could make would be in a high quality suspension.

For a dedicated track vehicle, I personally would start and end with the link I just posted.

Best of luck to you whatever you decide.

The Teins Ha's on the RNN14 fits the B13's and the feel as good if not better than the 8611 setup.

You haven't ridden in my car yet then. The new KSports with the revised specs are pretty good.

The rears needs a stiffer springs, imho that's why the rear blows out a lot. then again i got my ksport in 2004.

Keo thats correct any coilover that fits the rnn14 fits the b13. The valving will not be right though. I had a set of type flex's that were for a gtir on my b13.
