The hub, i.e the bit with the studs and bearing is the same but the end of the beam where there is either a mount for the brake drum backing plate (4 bolts) or the 'ears' for the caliper is different.
So yes, nissan did make 2 different beams for the two different cars depending on the rear brakes.
