drum vs. disc
Looking to convert to rear disc..I know there are brackets out there..but I saw something on eBay that looked like I could swap out the hubs? need some info on this..would rather convert over to discs now instead of replacing my drums shoes and all hardware and shit now and converting it all again later..lmk..

i just so happened to be at pepboys today and asked them to look up the hubs because i had an idea..why would nissan make 2 different beams for the drums vs. discs? they didnt have any in the store so i had the guy look up the part numbers and ALL the b14s have the SAME part number..all 200sx's AND sentras with 1.6s AND 2.0s, and rear drums AND discs..so does that mean i can get away with using my same hubs then?

why not swap out the beam? if im not mistaken eggman has/had one for sale. yes it will only put you to stock disc but still better than drums. vs. the cost of a conversion kit from a company

Looking on courtesy nissan they appear to be the same as far as hubs. And if you're upgrading the rear to disk you may as well go big, and do the maxima upgrade. All you will need is the calipers and caliper brackets from a 95-99 max, an altima master cylinder, and these rotors from rock auto.

I agree! I feel like a search retard on this site and it sucks because I am new to the sr20 and I have alot of questions that I want more than one opinion on. I search as much as I can before asking a stupid question but I still get that reply. Anyway.... I have found this forum very helpful and I will continue top use it.
